Back in history, the first National Anaesthesia Day was held in Great Britain on 25 May 2000 – organised by the Royal College of Anaesthetists. On a global scale, the World Anaesthesia Day takes place every year, on 16th October.

New pain rotator: Dr Almarie Woest 💉
Please notify pain rotators the day before should you have:
- Complicated regional blocks you require assistance with
- Epidurals and CSE
- PCA insertion follow-up
Please follow up your own PCA pumps and epidurals when pain rotator is pre/post call. In terms of difficult airway trolley usage, please highlight items used to pain rotator or anaesthetic nurses on relevant levels. 🥼
