Recipe inspiration of the week
KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN SAUCE
- 3 Tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp to 2 1/2 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chilli paste)
- 1/4 cup honey (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic/ginger and spring onion
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
Cook until thickened
Cheats version - add to KFC zinger wings. Sprinkle spring onions and sesame seeds to finish
Alternatively - chicken wings marinated in soy sauce, ginger, garlic, drenched in corn starch and deep fried to perfection is a perfect addition to the sauce.
